This morning, the Glass Class had a unique learning opportunity. They spent an hour with Marsha Goren, of the Global Virtual Classroom Clubhouse and Globaldreamers. They listened intently as she told them of her mother who was a survivor of the Holocaust. They hung on every word. I will not tell you all that they learned. The students will do that. They will tell you how they felt. They will tell you what they think they can do to make a difference.
The ceiling of our classroom is adorned with flags of a number of our partners. It was great to share our Israeli flag with Marsha during our conversation this morning.
Students take notes as Cindy Corliss BeMent interviews Marsha Goren about the effects of the Holocaust on her family and her teaching.
